UF System

UF System

UF is a variety of membrane filtration in which forces like pressure or concentration gradients lead to a separation through a semi permeable membrane. Suspended solids and solutes of high molecular weight are retained, while water and low molecular weight solutes pass through the membrane in the permeate. This separation process is used in industry and research for purifying and concentrating macromolecular (103 - 106 Da) solutions, especially protein solutions. Ultra-filtration is not fundamentally different from micro filtration. Both of these separate based on size exclusion or particle capture. It is fundamentally different from membrane gas separation, which separate based on different amounts of absorption and different rates of diffusion. Ultra-filtration membranes are defined by the Molecular weight cut-off (MWCO) of the membrane used. Ultra-filtration is applied in cross-flow or dead-end mode.

Besides the ultra-filtration system, you should choose the pretreatment dosing System of operational mode backwashing, dosing system of backwash, CIP and so on, Based on your water resource

UF System

Pre filter is always a key factor that determines the UF system to be successful or not. In order to prevent that UF membrane from being scratched, a screen of 100μm-150µm is required.

You can dose the disinfectant and flocculent in to the water flow before it flows into UF membrane based on feed - in water quality. Commonly, the flocculent will benefit the formation of a layer of contaminant on the membrane surface and prevent the surface and pore of the membrane from being polluted. The contaminants are easy to be removed. The quantities of disinfectant flocculent

UF System UF System

Our ultra filtration system is ideal for both new installations and major upgrades, and can be used in both municipal and industrial applications, including:

•RO pretreatment for desalination
•Industrial process water
•Potable and non-potable reuse
•Drinking water in surface and groundwater applications

• Higher System Productivity—Backwash duration reduced by more than 35%, increasing module uptime and lowering system costs by processing more water over the course of a day
• Better equipment access—Module, easy-access design allows for in-place repairs and saves on maintenance costs
• Lower operating cost of treated water since its operates low pressure.
